I found this on Angus Heritage Facebook page:
FRIDAY'S FASCINATING FACT: There are 210 names on the Kirriemuir War Memorial, the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the First World War. In that seemingly endless list of brave young men's names, there appears only one woman, Agnes Grieg Mann, a 25 year old Staff Nurse whose family originated from Kirriemuir, who served at sea on the Hospital ship HMHS Salta. On the 10th April 1917 Agnes was aboard the Salta as she approached Le Harve on the French coast to collect more patients. At around 11.40am the Salta struck a mine and the ship was torn apart. Only 24 bodies were recovered and today they lie in the Sainte Marie Cemetery in Le Harve.
