Hendry Rudge is named on Carnwath War Memorial and the Scottish National War Memorial.
Name: Rudge, Hendry
Rank: Lance Corporal
Service Number: 2012310
Regiment/Service: Royal Engineers
Date of Death: 25 March 1943
Theatre of Death: In hospital.
He is not on the CWGC register.
His Death Certificate confirms death on 25 March 1943 at Hairmyres Hospital (usual residence Newbigging). Rank or profession is Joiner (journeyman) (Lance Corporal, Royal Engineers). Cause of death: Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
However, without the Service Record his case cannot go forward at present. |
