Have moved this from church section to civic as this plaque and the accompanying windows (still to be photographed) are definitely parish memorials also. |

Maybe we should revisit other church memorials and see whether they are dedicated to those of the parish or those of the congregation?
Thanks

BLAIRGOWRIE ADVERTISER: 28.09.1923
CAPUTH WAR MEMORIAL DEDICATED
IMPRESSIVE CHURCH CEREMONY
ADDRESS BY PROFESSOR MILLIGAN
In the chancel of the beautiful Parish Church of Caputh there have been placed two lovely stained glass lancet windows in memory of the men of the parish who gave their lives in the Great War. The windows flank the large centre stained glass window presented by Mr Cox of Snaigow when the church was built, and the designs and exquisite colourings of the three windows blend very effectively. A bronze tablet bearing the names of the fallen has also been placed on the wall beside the pulpit. |

It is only by finding and viewing/transcribing the unveiling of memorials that many of the questions we ask here are answered.
