In March 1933, the foundation stone of the main Church building was laid. The Church of today, modern Gothic in design and built of Dumfriesshire sandstone, was formally opened in June 1934, and the original Large and Small Halls reverted to being used for Sunday School, Youth Organisations and the many social and community events still enjoyed in them today. South Clerestory
The second window from the pulpit was designed by Gordon Webster and dedicated on the 7 November 1948 to the memory of the twenty one members and adherents who gave their lives during the Second World War. The Peace Window has the theme Whosoever giveth his life for my sake...
