In my Aberdeen and NE Scotland FHS journal there is an article by Sheila Smith which states that there is a memorial in St Mary's Episcopal Church Inverurie to Helen Margaret Smith - the pulpit. This was donated by her parents. She was the 2nd daughter of John Smith and Margaret Innes and served in ATS in Leicester and died there age 27 on 20 July 1945. Her father subsequently became Provost of Inverurie. |
