This Church was only built in the 1920s but is suffering from shoddy workmanship and the congregation plan to knock it down and replace it-funds and planning permitting.
Contains WW2 Memorial-will post pics soon.

Very sad to see this posting. I was confirmed in to C of S as a teenager by Rev. Walker. My Grandfather Colour Sgnt George Petrie Cameronians lived in Arbroath Road, worshipped at Craigiebank and my Uncle Hugh Petrie was Church Warden for many years. It would be a shame to reduce it to rubble _________________ Bomb.Hugh Petrie, RGA. Killed Nr Monchy au boise, 14th April 1916 buried at Doullon Cemetery, France |
