|
|
We're currently undertaking some housekeeping of the forum and the memorial listings. This will be done in several stages and will involve updating the indexes, and ensuring there is a standard template for recording and naming thread for memorials in the forum.
The first step is to make sure that our rule for "One memorial=one thread" is maintained.
There are a number of posts here, particularly for churches, where all the memorials in one building are recorded in one thread - each memorial should have its own thread. A WW1 memorial with an additional plaque underneath for WW2 would have its own thread, but if the WW2 memorial was entirely separate, it would need its own thread. The same rule would apply for a building which had a WW1 memorial and also a WW2 Roll of Honour.
We're currently trying to locate threads like this, and that's where we need your help. In the course of browsing the forum, if you come across a thread with more than one memorial in it, please send a PM (including a link to the thread concerned) to either myself, Adam Brown, Spoons or jrah60 - we can then flag that thread in the admin section where we keep a record of the housekeeping required.
Please - do not reply with examples in this thread - PM us with the link to the relevant thread. Please also only PM one of us at a time.
Thank you for your help in advance - with this assistance we can help to get the forum into a more manageable and efficient shape. |
