Within the chapel which also houses the church's congregational war memorial. Not sure what it is properly called - chancel screen perhaps?

London Gazette 15/6/1917 p.5988
2nd Lt. George Cyril Addison Cox, Bord. R.
For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to
duty. He led his platoon against an enemy
strong point in a most gallant manner. He
himself, though severely wounded, succeeded
in reaching a point close to the objective.
He thoroughly reconnoitred the position
under heavy machine gun fire, and
brought back most valuable information. _________________ Ken |
