The Arlington Baths Club, 61 Arlington Street, Glasgow G3 6DT
UK Grid Ref: NS 578664
Arlington Baths Club was originally built during 1870 - 1871 and is a fine example of Victorian Architecture of the time. It opened on the 1 August 1871 as the Arlington Swimming Club. Along with bicycling and tennis clubs it formed part of that developing interest prevalent at the time of extending a general state of economic health outwards towards a complementary form of physical well being. www.arlingtonbaths.co.uk

The unusual forname of Isidor L. Freeman stood out when browsing the memorial, but I can't find him on CWGC?
Cheers,

With that sort of name could he have served in another countries armed forces? France, Italy, U.S.A.?

He might equally have favoured his middle name (Louis? Lionel?) in everyday usage or Isidor might have been contracted to Issy or Izzy. |
