Elie & Earlsferry
The memorial to the communities from the Polish Paratroopers stationed there in WWII takes the form of a bronze wall tablet on a wall at the corner of Park Place and Main Street.
The inscription reads:
POLISH
PARATROOPS
TO THE ROYAL BURGH OF
ELIE & EARLSFERRY
AS A TOKEN OF
FRIENDSHIP
AND GRATITUDE
1940 - 1943
