|
The 6 or 7 war memorials from St Andrew Erskine Church (arising from the complex set of church mergers which led to this Church), none of which appear to be on this forum, have now moved back to the new St Andrew Erskine Church at Robertson Road, Dunfermline, in time for Remembrance day 2018.
When the Church relocated in 1998 the then Minister refused to take them to the new Church and they ended up in the town's Co-operative Funeral Parlour.
Several were in a poor condition and were restored prior to their move 'home'.
They are now displayed in a war memorial corner at the new church with signage indicating where each originated, and all now have WMR reports. |
