A rededication service was held yesterday (Tuesday) for a First World War serjeant who died 100 years ago this week.

Ken, Having used a popular search engine to find an image of this memorial I can confirm that there is a J MacKenzie of Lochnamoidh who served in the Seaforths named on the Muir of Ord WM. Could be the same man. |

That's got to be him and his brothers Donald and Kenneth are also listed.

I can confirm that is the right man on the Muir of Ord WM. John was my husband’s great uncle and we were at the rededication service at the end of March. |
