At St Anne's Episcopal Church, Dunbar there is a Brass Plaque which reads:
+/TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF/MALCOLM ROY WINGATE DSO MC/MAJOR COMMANDING 459 FIELD CO. ROYAL ENGINEERS/WHO FELL IN ACTION NEAR LANGNECOURT, FRANCE/ON 21 MARCH 1918 AGED 24/LIFE'S RACE, WELL FULL/LIFE'S WORK, WELL DONE/LIFE'S FIGHT, WELL WON
