I recently purchased a booklet called St Andrews & Chapelshade United Free Church , Dundee - Roll of Honour - 1914-1919
It has a foreord dated Ocober 1920 then a PHOTOGRAPH of the church war memorial with a Wreath at the top of the memorial and lists the men who laid down their lives ."This memorial is raised in Reverent gratitude and solemn Pride . Pages 7 to 11 listing the 29 War dead from the church and each has some information on their war service and death /grave and Regiment /corps etc . Pages 13 to the end of the booklet page 37 with men who went to war and survived the war. All Men casualties and all men who went to war and survived the war.
An interesting wee booklet from i think a church that ceased with the church of Scotland Mergers and the United Free Church mergers etc in i think the Dundee City Centre. The building may have been a bar and it was later burned down ..
Seems scarce Roll of Honour as i cant find any info on the Internet on this Roll of Honour for 1914- 1919

Just had an update from Martin Allan , Dundee City Archivist reporting that the Dundee City Archivist do not hold that Church War Memorial and he further reports that an Archivist would not care for items such as a War Memorial and that the Dundee Museums would be the more likely place to hold such an item .
He has pointed me to contact the McManus in Dundee to see if the war memorial is in their store
