I wonder what the connection to Lanark was?
The brothers are named on the North Berwick War Memorial but not on the Lanark War Memorial.
They were the sons of Walter Fitzgerald Knox Lyon and Isabella Romanes Lyon, of Tantallon Lodge, North Berwick. _________________ Ken |

I see that the St BALDERED's Scottish Episcopal Church in NORTH BERWICK has war Mememorials to WW1 church members and there is a similar LYON - Marble tablet with the Regimental Badges at the corners and the same 3 Lyon sons killed in action details and same wording as on this church war memorial .
