This one's a bit of a mystery. I've not come across any mention of it before, and although it's part of the "Listed Building" comprising this memorial, the gates and crematorium at this cemetery, the actual listing gives no details about when this was erected, who by, who it commemorates, etc. The inscription about "soldiers here interred" really intrigues me, unless it's a later addition commemorating the number of Great War dead buried there.
It's also looking a little worse for wear.
