Access to this memorial is via a semi private farm road from the village of Quendale. This road goes all the way to the top of Fitful Head as it also gives access to communication masts, and from there the memorial is about half a mile walk south along the cliff top. The road is steep in parts and may not be advisable for some vehicles. As the memorial stands very near the edge of high cliffs extreme caution is advised, especially in windy conditions. _________________ Robbie @ Shetlopedia.com |
