I think this might be the first Jewish memorial posted on the forum.
UKNIWM No. 54472
This is one of several memorials in Garnethill Synagogue, however, this is the only one listed by the UKNIWM.
More on the history of the Synagogue can be found here.

Woops!
I looked at the WW2 Memorial Plaque and only saw Bertram Levitus - I should have checked the stained glass window before opening my big gob!

The man listed at the top of the 3rd Column, died on26th September 1926 aged 27 years
The inscription on his family's stone reads:
"Pte. EDGAR HAROLD KUTTNER
Who served with His Majesty’s Forces in East Africa
And contracted illness there from which he passed away on 26th September 1926 aged 27 years"

So it's possible the one described below from a now demolished synagogue at South Portland Street could be there?

Probably not, the other memorials are all for the Second World War, and are all on the project. |

Mystery solved ......
I've found what I presume must be the memorial referred to in the Glasgow Herald from the 'now demolished synagogue at South Portland Street'.
It's now housed in the Prayer Rooms of Glenduffhill Jewish Cemetery on Hallhill Road, Barlanark, Glasgow.
There are 70 names (as described) + 2 additions.
