One of many Roll of Honour books published by schools after the Second World War. This one has photographs of each man killed, together with the details of the regiment they served in, when they died, and the dates they attended the school.
Each facing page has a small piece of poetry, which is not something I've noticed before.

The Allan Glen Book of Remembrance 1939 – 1945, dedicated by the Reverend W. Roy Sanderson in the Barony of Glasgow, 27 April 1949. The book commemorates former pupils and staff members of Allan Glen’s School who lost their lives in the service of their country.
The original is on display in the Barony Hall, Rottenrow East, University of Strathclyde.
A copy of the book is held in Special Collections, Strathclyde University Archives.
