The following memorial is housed within Giffnock Park Church, Ravenscliffe Road, Giffnock.
There are two identical memorial chairs both are inscribed as follows:
TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY
OF SERGEANT PILOT HORATIO H. MORRIS,
THE ROYAL AIR FORCE KILLED ON SERVICE, JUNE 1942
PER ARDUA AD ASTRA
(“Through Adversity to the Stars”) is the motto of the Royal Air Force and other Commonwealth Air Forces such as the RAAF, RNZAF.

He was lost on a test flight. He was serving in Coastal Command for which no book has yet been published of losses in 1942.
