Communion Table as Memorial
A communion table and a chair, the gift of the Woman's Guild, in memory of those who gave their lives in the 1939-45 war, were unveiled and dedicated at a service in Prestonkirk Old Parish Church, East Linton, yesterday. The service was conducted by the Rev. R. Clayton Corrie and the memorial was unveiled by Mr Alan McLennan, Aberdeen, the names of whose two brothers appear on the Roll of Honour. The memorial was dedicated by the Very Rev. Dr Matthew Stewart.

To the glory of God this communion table and chair were given by the Women's Guild of the Old Parish Church of Prestonkirk in greatful remembrance of the men who gave their lives in the Second World War. 1939-1945. |
