A book called "The War Book of Turriff and 12 Miles around" published in 1926 lists servicemen from the area who fought in the First World War. Seems there are brief biographies and service information on each.
I don't know if it only relates to Casualties of the Great War or includes those who served in the war.
NB
Strangely this book I hear from a source does not include two fishermen who were fishing in 1918 when attacked and killed by a U Boat. Both casualties are listed as casualties in the Imperial War Graves Commission index for the Great War. |

The content varies and records all who served, but is generally detailed regarding the casualties.
It may well be the fishers were not linked to the parishes included in the Book. _________________ Jim
