The Courier & Advertiser Friday 12 November 2010 : Anugs & Mearns edition :local news : page 5 reports
" A poignant ceremony took place at Arbroath Academy yesterday to remember those who have died serving their Country. The school's Armistice Day Ceremony featured pupils and staff and members of the Royal British Legion Scotland who laid a wreath at a memorial stone in the School grounds.
"The school has built strong links with the local British Legion since it carried out a project to reseach all the names listed on the Arbroath War Memorial".
Note :
So the Arbroath Academy now has a memorial stone as the school was only built in the 1960's I recall

I don't believe this is a war memorial, simply a stone with the schools name and badge on it. The article is misleading
