This is actually 6 separate memorials but there is a single explanatory plaque so I have posted them together. These are the laid up Queens Colours of 6th, 7th, 8th and 11th Service Battalions, 12th Ayrshire and Lanarkshire Yeomanry Battalion and 1st Garrison Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers. Prior to the Great War, service battalions were not issued with colours but in 1914 all service battalions were issued with a Queens Colour, they were never presented with a Regimental Colour.
All laid up 27th November 1920.
