INVERNESS SHIRE CONSTABULARY war memorial :
ERECTED IN MEMORY OF POLICE CONSTABLE HARRY URQUHART FRASER 1142 , 4th BATTALION , CAMERON HIGHLANDERS who died 18th May 1915 - Remembered with Honour Le Touret Memorial
(info per record General Orders record for 1916 records his death -killed in action France .
Harry Urquhart FRASER born 9th December 1889 Inverness joined INVERNESS SHIRE CONSTABULARY 24 November 1913 after 7 years in the Cameron Highlanders . Constable Fraser was stationed at Fort William when he joined the Colours for War Service .
This memorial is in the Northern Constabulary HQ Inverness - now Police Scotland Highlands & Islands Police Divison Inverness .
