I take it Robert the Bruce was born in Lochmaben.

Most websites indicate he was born 11th July, 1274 at Turnberry Castle, Ayrshire. |

As the wording on the memorial does not tell us who Robert the Bruce was (yes I know fine well who he was) or mention any conflicts this does not qualify for WMA/UKNIWM purposes as a war memorial.
I doubt it is proveable one way or the other if he was born on 11th or 12th, that long ago. |
