Located in Hawick High Street on the chemists's wall opposite the 1514 Memorial (The Horse)
Unveiled by Brigadier R.W. Riddell in July 1988.

The plaque was officially unveiled by Brigadier R.W. Riddell, OBE, who in 1988, was Colonel of the King's Own Scottish Borderers.
In attendance were three members of the regiment who fought on the Gallipoli Peninsula. _________________
