Further info
F/L J.I. Elliot was the Pilot of IX Sqn Wellington X3369 WS-? that had departed RAF Honington, Suffolk at 2229 on 08/09/42 for Ops Warnemunde
The aircraft is believed to have been engaged by multiple Flak units, hit and shot down
All five crew were killed |
