Sandyhills Parish Church, 28 Baillieston Road, Glasgow G32 0QQ
OS Grid Ref: NS 657638
The church was first erected on the site in 1900. The Rev. William Nelson arrived as pastor in 1892 and was followed by Rev. G. Lithgow Wilson in 1902.
The church requiring extensive repairs was demolished in 1982 with the large hall serving as the chancel. The new church was completed in December 1984. www.sandyhillschurch.co.uk

The Second World War memorial was dedicated at a service on Sunday 26th October 1947. I have a small "war memorial handbook" which was printed for the occasion, which I shall reprint here in due course. |
