Here's one I can help with:
Dunrossness, Halifax Air Crash , Location - Not known , Additional info - HALIFAX BOMBER CRASH SITE , UKNIWM Ref No. 8898
Pictures and location information available here:
http://shetlopedia.com/Aircraft_Memorial_-_Fitful_Head
The site is only a few miles from where I grew up but we only visited it last year, the old thing about local things being the last to be of interest.
And here's one which I don't see anywhere on your list:
http://shetlopedia.com/Royl_Field_Mosquito_Memorial
Please feel free to use the images and details from these pages. And a link to Shetlopedia would be nice.
Kind regards, _________________ Robbie @ Shetlopedia.com |

Regarding this entry [VIDLIN - UKNIWM Ref No. 8872 - Public Hall (unidentified)]
on the UKNIWM. I received this response from the Vidlin Hall;
Hello Mark,
Re: Your earlier email.
All the older people here say that there has never been a plaque or memorial inside the Vidlin Hall.
Local people, who have extensively researched Vidlin history for many years, have given me the following information for you.
"There might have been a list of names that would have been on paper in the Hall but that would have been disposed of.
The only plaque that we know of is the one on the War memorial with the names of the WWII men who were lost/killed, the actual war memorial was erected for the men lost/killed in WWI".
I hope that helps.
Regards,
Rowland
I have removed it from our list.
