Not listed on UKNIWM
Location in private house (former Knowe school) at OS Map Ref NX 314 714
These names are exactly the same as on the Bargrennan Civic memorial. This memorial holds pride of place above the mantelpiece in this private house.
My thanks to Michael Dunlop for providing the photograph.

A report of the unveiling was published in the Wigtownshire Free Press on 7th July 1921 (page 5).
The memorial was unveiled on Sunday 3rd July 1921 by Mrs Fox, Polbae and the service was conducted by the minister Rev Joseph Campbell.
The memorial is described as a 'brass tablet'. |
