Located in Hampden Stadium, Glasgow the WW2 memorial is appended onto the bottom of the existing WW1 memorial and lists the 6 members of the club who died in WW2

David Johnston Robertson Clyne – age 27 – Warrant Officer/Pilot (1550542) Coastal Command, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
David was the pilot of a PBY Catalina sea plane of 302 Flying Training School which crashed on the island of Vatersay in the Outer Hebrides during a training flight from Oban.
Born 1916 in Dennistoun, Glasgow.
Died on Active Service on 12 May 1944.
Commonwealth War Grave – Glasgow (Riddrie Park) Cemetery.
Also named on a memorial on Vatersay to the 3 men who were killed and to the 6 who survived,
