Greetings - I have numerous photos of War Memorials from the Western Isles and the Highlands. Apparently I can't post them at this time as they are my photos on my computer at home. (Any suggestions welcomed!) In my travels in Scotland, visiting ancestral haunts and researching the 4th Highland Mountain Brigade, RGA (TF) from WW1, I have found the local War Memorials helpful in finding names to research to add names to my rosters (which only exist because I have put them together!) which now number about 1300 men. I have the following memorials photographed:
Rothesay, Port Bannatyne, Kingarth (All on the Isle of Bute), Largs, Campbeltown, Dingwall, Oban, Lochcarron, Wemyss Bay. I hope to be able to share them with you all.

Mike,
Welcome to the forum.
We'd all appreciate your photographs, especially from the Western Isles as there hasn't been any posted from there yet. _________________

I feel a bit dumb, but I haven't figured out how to post a photo from my computer to the forum. From the way I read it, the photos have to be on an accessible website (which they aren't). I'd be happy to email them or upload them to a site that is accessible (or be straightened out on the procedure if I'm wrong!)

I think I can do that David. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll get to it in a couple of days.
