Richard Graham Militia Battalion 4th Argyle And Sutherland Highlanders.
Military Authorities have intimated the death of His Brother to Jas Graham 34 high street Neilston, Richard Graham, a passenger on SS City of Rome ,took ill on way to Africa and died of Pneumonia.
Richard was accorded a military Funeral.
Richard was brought up in Neilston and had worked for a number of years as a miner in Bellshill

John Parkhill Jnr Imperial Light Horse
Died of Enteric fever at Durban South Africa age 26.
He was in Ladysmith south Africa during the siege along with 2 other Neilston Men

W Ross.
Barrhead news march 25th 1900.
Private William Faulds 2957 Scotch fusiliers/reserve and lately of Paisley militia
Age 44 Succumbed to malarial fever and died at Sterkstroom 31st May 1900 |
