On the wood WW1 plaque is ELIZABETH T. GILCHRIST M.D. but I don't see her on CWGC or SNWM.
The BMJ (16/9/1893) has a note of her being appointed Resident Medical Officer in Grove Street Hospital for Women and Children in Edinburgh.
Miss Gilchrist, Elizabeth T. LRCP&S Edinburgh. LFPS Glasgow.
She appears in PO Directories for Greenock in 1904-1907 at 22 Finnart Street as Physician and Surgeon. _________________ Ken |
