Located in Crossmichael churchyard at OS Map Ref NX 730 670.
William Graham was shot by the troops of Claverhouse while trying to escape from his family home in 1682.

Most regrettably, as this marks his actual grave, this does not classify nationally as a war memorial. Locally, of coures, it does.
Personally I wish it did, but I didn't write the rules!! |
