My Great Uncle, Pvt John Donochy aged 24, of the Royal Scots Fusiliers (Service Number 6212) was killed on 16 September 1914 during the Aisne Heights campaign (so I believe). His body was never recovered but his name appears on the Memorial at la Ferte sous Jouarre, east of Paris.
I would dearly love to have a photograph of him and the recent dalblair posts indicate that photographs are available for all but one of the volunteers from the Anchor Mills, Paisley.
Please advise me as to how I can access and retrieve his photograph(s).
Thank you |
