Memorial located in the Church of the Holy Rude, Stirling.
3rd Special Reserve Battalion, Prncess Louise’s Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders
In memory of 5 Officers and 87 gallant Non-Commissioned Officers and men who gave their lives in the Service of their Country during the Great War of 1914 – 1919
Their names rest in the keeping of Scotland’s National War Memorial, Edinburgh
The Battalion on mobilization numbered 17 Officers and 435 Other Ranks
