Another of numerous members of the Swinton line who died in service.
In Loving Memory of
Captain Edulf Bentinck Swinton
1st The Royal Scots
only son of
Captain Robert Bruce Swinton
1st Royal Berkshire Regt
Died 3rd January 1930
And underneath are the Everlasting Arms
Deut 33 27
Born in 1897... son of Captain Robert Bruce Swinton. Grandson of William Bentinck Swinton. Twice Mentioned in Dispatches during WWI.
He died in a motorcycle accident in Aldershot.
