Hi
I'm a Scottish Baptist minister and I've started a project to locate, photograph and research the casualties mentioned on Great War Memorials or Rolls of Honour found in Scottish Baptist Churches.
My project involves finding out as much personal, church and military information about each casualty and then I write a short biographical account about each person.
Although in the long term I would like to write, publish and sell a Scottish Baptist Roll of Honour, at the moment I gather all the above information together in small booklets. I give a copy to the relevant Church for their archive and library, a copy to the Scottish Baptist archive and I keep one for my own personal records. I don't sell these booklets.
If you ever come across a Baptist Great War Memorial or Roll of Honour, then I would love to hear from you.
Similarly, as I'm located in Edinburgh, if I can help out with anyones memorial research in this area, then please get in touch.
Regards

Hi David
Many thanks for that information.
My casualty list was taken from the Scottish Baptist Magazine that published lists between Jan 1917 & May 1919. The list in that magazine only had 9 names whereas the memorial has 13. That's important to know for my research.
Thanks again for your kindness.
Regards
