Mallaig St Columba's Church had a WW1 stained glass window, probably part of the same memorial scheme as the plaque.
The Dundee Evening Telegraph of 28 February 1922 reports that a stained glass window "which was unveiled recently in memory of those who fell in the Great War" suffered damage from a lightning strike on the church.
This seems to be the only available information about it, and the window no longer seems to exist. |
