The UNNIWM have this listed as being in St Vigeans church but it is St Mary's church, Arbroath.

WHO DIED AT ARBROATH NB MAY 13 1871
ERECTED BY HIS BROTHER OFFICERS
IN TOKEN OF THEIR SINCERE REGARD
There is also a stain glass window in the same church commemorating him.

The location of the plaque has now been corrected on the WMR (ex UKNIWM), and the window added as a separate memorial- WMR 85769 |
