Listed on a stone in Bent Cemetery in Hamilton.
Death certificates note he was attached to the Pay Corps. There is a record of a Silver War Badge being awarded and his name is on the Register of Soldiers Effects, showing him dying on 9th October 1918.
I have sent the documentation on to John to submit to IFCP. |

Got these sorted tonight.
This one will not qualify. He was not in service at death.
This is easily seen as he had a SWB issued which only happened upon discharge. His cause of death (flu) had no connection to service.
Officers always need their service record to progress anyway - available from the National Archives at Kew.
