James Murray is a possible Non-Commemoration.
His death certificate states he was a railway clerk and Sapper, Royal Engineers and confirms date of death as 14 April 1918. Cause Phthisis Pulmonalis one year. Age: 26. Home address: Station House, Lenzie. Parents: James Murray (Station Master) and Maggie Euphemia Murray nee Simpson (deceased).
Silver War Badge card shows date of discharge as 8 March 1918, service number 209848. His full pension record survives on Ancestry and that stipulates TB commencing during service in 1917 and aggravated by service.
His case has been forwarded and I will update as and when I hear of developments.
